The Bahrain Turf Series

Bahrain's horse racing programme is rapidly evolving following the success of the Bahrain International Trophy, as such The Bahrain Turf Series was introduced in December 2021

The series will consist of ten races that have returned to make up the existing 2022/23 Imported Race Programme, the aim of the series is to encourage international horses to come and compete in the Kingdom and for owners to experience the wonderful hospitality that Bahrain has to offer.

Our vision

To develop a horseracing programme in Bahrain that stands alongside the world’s best, which hosts consistently high calibre races throughout the season, attracting leading domestic and international challengers.

Nomination procedure

To nominate for stabling, please email Edward Veale, edward@rehc.gov.bh by Friday 28th October 2022.

Prize money

The race series will have a total of £600,000 prize money fund. £60,000 is allocated per series race with the purse distributed as follows:
