New partnership with Total Performance Data will elevate race day experience and fan engagement
The Bahrain Turf Club is excited to announce its new partnership with Total Performance Data (TPD), the world’s leading provider of live horse racing data.

This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the Bahrain Turf Club’s mission to enhance fan engagement and educate new audiences in the Kingdom of Bahrain by leveraging the power of advanced race data.

As part of a four-season agreement, TPD will deliver real-time performance metrics for every horse in every race run at the Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club, beginning with the 2024-25 season. This data will be integrated into on-track screens and digital platforms, providing racegoers with live timing stats, running order graphics, and post-race analyses. The use of cutting-edge technology will not only improve the race day experience but also help attract new fans to the sport in Bahrain by making horse racing more interactive and accessible.

Yusuf Buheji, CEO of the Bahrain Turf Club, added,
"This exciting collaboration between the Bahrain Turf Club and TPD marks a significant step in our ambition to find new ways to engage our stakeholders and attract new racing fans. By leveraging TPD’s innovative technology, we aim to enhance the race day experience for our attendees and further elevate the profile of Bahrain horseracing on the international stage."

Will Duff Gordon, CEO of TPD, commented,
“We’re delighted to extend our footprint in the Middle East by adding the Bahrain Turf Club to our client base. We’d like to thank the Bahrain Turf Club and the team there for choosing us and look forward to drawing even more attention to the quality racing taking place at this ambitious racecourse.”

The collaboration also supports the Bahrain Turf Club’s goal of increasing the international profile of racing in Bahrain. Over the past five years, the Bahrain International Trophy has seen winners trained in four different countries, reflecting the global nature of the competition. By integrating advanced data into both live and digital channels, the Bahrain Turf Club aims to further highlight the quality of its racing, attracting top-tier competitors and a broader audience.

In addition to enhancing the on-track experience, the Bahrain Turf Club and TPD will collaborate on data-driven marketing content throughout the Bahrain racing season. This initiative will leverage performance metrics to create engaging content for social media and digital platforms, helping to draw in new fans and keep them engaged with Bahrain’s thriving racing scene.

The 2024-25 season kicks off in November, and racegoers can expect a thrilling season ahead, with highlights including the $1 million Bahrain International Trophy (Group 2), the Crown Prince's Cup (Listed), and the King's Cup (Listed).
