The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club confirm six horses trained by Fawzi Nass have been disqualified as a result of testing positive for prohibited substances.

The above mentioned competitors were positive for Class 2 and Class 3 prohibited substances when screened during the REHC’s rigorous testing protocol and subsequently confirmed to be positive by LGC, Newmarket, UK. As a result, all six horses have been disqualified and the results of the races have been amended accordingly.

Subsequently, the Stewards fined Trainer Fawzi Nass for three offenses. The fourth offence was referred to a Disciplinary Committee, which took the appropriate action while reiterating the importance of abiding by REHC rules to ensure fair racing.
