The following competitors: Epic (BH), The Covex Kid (IRE), Mobaadel (USA), Kuheilan Weld Umm Zorayr 1797 (BH) on meeting 15, 13th January 2023, and Mudallal (BH) on meeting 13 (rescheduled), 14th January 2023, had shown the presence of Harpogoside when screened during the REHC’s rigorous testing protocol and subsequently confirmed to be positive by Racing Analytical Services Limited, Australia.

In addition, on Meeting 16, 20th January 2023, Royal Scimitar (IRE), also trained by Hesham Al Haddad, had tested positive for prohibited substances Furosemide and 5-hydroxydantrolene when sampled for post-race testing and subsequently confirmed to be positive by Racing Analytical Services Limited, Australia.
