The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club confirm four horses trained by Hesham Al Haddad have been disqualified as a result of testing positive for a prohibited herbal substance. Competitors on Meeting 12, 30th December 2022; The Covex Kid (IRE), What A Welcome (GB), Fighter Pilot (IRE) and Encourage (GB), had shown the presence of Harpagoside when screened during the REHC’s rigorous testing protocol and subsequently confirmed to be positive by LGC, Newmarket, UK. As a result, all four horses have been disqualified and the results of the races have been amended accordingly.
